Going to be honest... I am terrible at keeping up-to-date with posting, as I am not a massive fan of social media. I rather despise it!
This post is focusing on Art and finding motivation.
I thought I would update you on the new work I have been working on this month.
I have to be in a certain mood to create, so I find it liberating that I can flick between painting and drawing creatively. I also enjoy macrame and sewing. A new sewing page will be up and ready this September. A few embroidery pieces are nearly finished. They are very time-consuming, as I do these by hand.
There are a few new drawings on the website from me visiting Studland and Charmouth and some watercolours focusing on the Abbey in Abbotsbury from a coastal walk I took with my partner. It was a stunning day, a suggestion from Joe I couldn't be more grateful for.
I have found this month quite liberating, spending time with family and friends. Taking a breather clears any baggage to see what is important and what my values are. These do get clouded, however far on that road you may be. There have been times when I have struggled to motivate and to feel good enough. I know I am good enough; I am now at a point where the people I have cherished over the years are coming into their own and giving me so much love and support. I couldn't be more grateful to all those beautiful souls.
I also have some exciting news that I would love to share this month. I will keep you updated on this!
Myself and my partner Joe are going on holiday to Malta next week. We couldn't be happier. We are excited to chill and to declutter away from the noise.
